Does the iPhone 11 Pro Max support eSIM in Vietnam?

Most iPhone 11 Pro Max units support eSIM — but the version sold in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau usually ships with dual physical SIM and NO eSIM. Units from the US, Europe, Vietnam and most other regions do have eSIM. To check your own: open Settings → General → About and look for an EID number — if it is there, your iPhone 11 Pro Max supports eSIM.
How to set up a Vietnam eSIM on the iPhone 11 Pro Max
Buy a plan and get the QR code by email → on the iPhone 11 Pro Max open Settings → Mobile/Cellular → Add eSIM → scan the QR → label it “Vietnam”, set it as your data line and turn on data roaming for that line. Do it before you fly; it activates when you land.
