Does the iPhone 16 Plus support eSIM in Vietnam?
Depends on where it was bought
Most iPhone 16 Plus units support eSIM — but the version sold in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau usually ships with dual physical SIM and NO eSIM. Units from the US, Europe, Vietnam and most other regions do have eSIM. To check your own: open Settings → General → About and look for an EID number — if it is there, your iPhone 16 Plus supports eSIM.
Manufacturer spec: Mainland China model: dual eSIM. Other markets: eSIM + physical SIM.
