Unlimited that stops being unlimited is the industry’s oldest trick — Holafly’s own page says their unlimited data “ends”, after which you get 1GB of backup. We would rather hand you a new SIM than quietly slow you down.
This plan carries no +84 number, so nobody can call or text you on it. If you need Grab drivers and hotels to reach you by phone, our Vinaphone plans include a real +84 number instead — they are metered, not unlimited.
This plan works in Vietnam and nowhere else. If the same trip also covers Thailand, Cambodia or Laos, a regional eSIM is the better buy — even though it costs more per gigabyte here.

Questions people ask before buying
Is it really unlimited, or does it slow down after a while?+
There is no daily cap and no reduced-speed tier on this plan — the connection runs at the carrier’s normal 4G/5G speed for the whole period. If you ever do exhaust the line, we issue you a replacement eSIM free rather than slowing you down. Holafly’s own Vietnam page states that their unlimited data "ends", after which a 1GB backup allowance applies.
Which network does it actually run on?+
VNPT, the parent company of Vinaphone. Airalo’s own Vietnam page lists VNPT as its network too, so this is the same infrastructure — the difference is that we are an authorized Vinaphone dealer inside Vietnam rather than a reseller abroad.
When do my days start — when I buy, or when I land?+
From the moment we send the QR code, not from your arrival. That is why you choose a start date — any day from tomorrow up to 30 days ahead — so pick the day you land and the plan begins that morning. This is a property of the line itself: the eSIM is live from the moment it is created, so an early QR would burn days you paid for.
Does it come with a Vietnamese phone number?+
No. This plan is data only, with no +84 number, so nobody can call or text you on it. If you need a Grab driver or a hotel to ring you back, choose one of our Vinaphone plans instead — those carry a real +84 number that receives incoming calls and ordinary SMS, though they do not receive app or bank verification codes.
Why does this plan sell out when the others do not?+
Because it runs on a fixed number of physical lines we hold ourselves, and each line serves one traveller at a time. Our metered plans are drawn from a supplier’s stock and effectively never run out; this one cannot be. When the page says sold out, there is no stock being held back — the calendar is genuinely full.
What if my trip covers more than one country?+
Then this is not the plan to buy. It works in Vietnam only. A regional eSIM covering Thailand, Cambodia and Laos, or a global one from Airalo or Holafly, will cost you more per gigabyte but will actually work when you cross the border — and one eSIM that works everywhere beats a cheaper one that stops at the airport.
