This Privacy Policy explains how Telebox ("we") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use simvietnam.telebox.vn. We minimize data collection and never sell or rent your data to third parties.

1. Data we collect

When you check out, we collect: your name, email address, optional phone number, country, and preferred language. We collect your IP address and basic browser metadata for fraud prevention. We use Plausible Analytics (cookie-free, no personal identifiers) and Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymization) to understand how the site is used. When we run advertising, we may also load the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok advertising pixels to measure ad performance and build remarketing audiences; these set cookies and share usage data with those platforms. You can opt out via your browser settings or your Google, Meta, and TikTok ad preferences.

2. How we use your data

We use your email to deliver your eSIM QR code and order confirmation, and for support correspondence about that order. We use your name and country for customer-support context. We use your phone number, if provided, only to contact you about urgent order issues. We do NOT use your data for marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

3. Payment data

Payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or PayPal password. PayPal's privacy policy applies to the payment data they handle on our behalf.

4. Data sharing

We share necessary data with Viettel and Vinaphone (the carrier) to provision your eSIM — typically just an order ID and the eSIM allocation. We share data with PayPal to process payment. We share data with Resend for transactional email delivery (your QR code email). We never share with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data retention

We retain order data for 7 years for tax and refund-dispute purposes, in line with Vietnamese accounting law. You may request deletion of your data at any time after the 7-year retention period, or earlier if no active order exists. Email admin@telebox.vn to request deletion.

6. Your rights

Regardless of your country of residence, you have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion (subject to retention period above), and request a portable copy of your data. EU residents have additional rights under GDPR. Korean residents have rights under PIPA. Chinese residents have rights under PIPL. To exercise any right, email admin@telebox.vn from your registered address — we respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use functional cookies to keep your locale preference, secure the admin panel for our staff, and maintain the Payload CMS session. When advertising pixels (Meta, TikTok) are active they also set advertising/measurement cookies; if no advertising is running, no advertising cookies are set.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the data.

9. Security

We encrypt data in transit (HTTPS/TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Our admin access requires two-factor authentication. We undergo periodic security review by our parent Telebox engineering team. In the event of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you within 72 hours.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers and posted here with a new "last updated" date.
